Senior Finance Analyst

About the role

Join Johnson Electric as a Senior Finance Analyst and take ownership of financial review and analysis. You will turn data into insights, support European finance leadership, and ensure compliance with Swiss statutory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly P&L review, analyse variances against budget, forecast and prior year and provide clear commentary.
• Review balance‑sheet reconciliations, provisions, accruals, intercompany balances and fixed‑asset accounts.
• Prepare annual and interim corporate income tax computations, tax provisions and deferred tax reconciliations.
• Manage Swiss statutory reporting calendar, including filings to the Swiss National Bank and preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Coordinate external audit, prepare PBC lists and track audit findings to closure.
• Collaborate with the Shared Service Centre in Hatvan and act as entity‑side reviewer of SSC deliverables.
• Contribute to automation and reporting improvements using Power BI, Excel automation and AI tools.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in accounting, controlling or financial analysis, preferably in an international manufacturing group.
• Strong knowledge of month‑end close, Swiss statutory accounting, tax and IFRS group reporting.
• Proficiency in English; French or German is a plus.
