Senior Finance Controller – Europe Hubs

About the role

Emerson is seeking a Senior Finance Controller to lead financial oversight for its Measurement Solutions Europe business. The role provides end‑to‑end financial leadership across globally managed operations, partnering with business leaders and driving strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial results for European hubs, ensuring accuracy, transparency and compliance with US and local GAAP.
• Lead, develop and support finance teams across European hubs, promoting best reporting practices and Power BI enhancements.
• Manage the full financial cycle – monthly actuals, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and multi‑year strategic plans.
• Collaborate with Global Measurement Solutions finance leaders to align operational plans with financial reporting.
• Present consolidated financial results and insights to senior European and global leadership.
• Drive compliance with Emerson accounting policies and oversee currency exposure reviews and hedging strategies.
• Lead ad‑hoc and strategic projects, including adoption of next‑generation financial management tools and AI‑enabled reporting.

Required profile

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience building and enhancing reports in Power BI.
• Working knowledge of Oracle financial systems (beneficial).
