Senior Financial Fraud Auditor

About the role

We are recruiting a Senior Financial Fraud Auditor for a Geneva‑based client. This position is ideal for an experienced internal audit professional with a strong background in financial fraud investigations, forensic accounting, and internal controls, preferably from a non‑financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk‑based internal audits focused on detecting and preventing financial fraud.
• Investigate suspected fraud, irregular transactions, and potential misconduct.
• Perform forensic accounting reviews and detailed financial data analysis.
• Assess internal control effectiveness and identify fraud risks.
• Analyse financial transactions and accounting records using SAP.
• Identify control weaknesses and recommend practical improvements.
• Prepare detailed audit and investigation reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Risk, and Internal Audit teams.
• Support development and enhancement of fraud risk management frameworks.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Internal Audit, Financial Fraud Investigation, or Forensic Accounting.
• Experience in a non‑financial services multinational or complex corporate environment.
• Demonstrated track record in financial fraud investigations and forensic accounting.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP for analysing financial transactions and reviewing controls.
