Senior Fintech Investment Partner

About the role

We are looking for a senior investment professional to lead the Fintech investment vertical at Tether Capital. The role focuses on early‑stage fintech opportunities and combines financial return objectives with strategic value for the broader Tether ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine Tether Capital’s fintech investment thesis, mapping the market landscape and identifying strategic whitespace.
• Source high‑conviction deals through a proprietary network of founders, operators, advisers and co‑investors, positioning Tether as a partner of choice.
• Lead end‑to‑end diligence covering commercial, financial, technical and regulatory aspects, and produce clear investment memoranda.
• Structure, negotiate and close transactions, including term sheets, valuations and governance terms while maintaining founder‑friendly terms.
• Build and manage syndicates with top‑tier financial and strategic partners.
• Present investment recommendations to the Investment Committee and own the case from conviction to approval.
• Drive strategic value creation by engineering commercial synergies between portfolio companies and Tether’s business units.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in venture capital, private equity or corporate investment, preferably with a focus on fintech.
• Strong track record of originating, executing and managing early‑stage investments.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and influence internal and external stakeholders.
