Senior GenAI Engineer

About the role

Board is an agentic planning platform that combines business context, continuous planning and enterprise AI to help companies make faster, aligned decisions. It is looking for a Senior GenAI Engineer to join its multi-disciplinary GenAI Product team and play a key role in developing Board AI Agents, which will form the cornerstone of the next-generation Board experience. The GenAI team defines the roadmap, designs the architecture and user experience and implements AI agents across the full product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the design and evolution of agentic AI architectures for Board Assistants, ensuring scalability, reliability, maintainability and seamless integration with the Board platform.
• Lead end-to-end development of AI agents, from technical design and prototyping to production deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Define and implement prompt engineering strategies, agent orchestration patterns and LLM configurations.
• Design and improve evaluation frameworks for agentic AI architectures, prompts, model selection and system performance.
• Establish engineering best practices for GenAI development, including testing, observability, performance optimization, security and responsible AI.
• Partner with product managers, solution teams, UX and engineering stakeholders on flagship solutions such as FP&A, S&OP and Retail Planning.
• Mentor fellow engineers and evaluate emerging GenAI technologies and frameworks.

Required profile

• Solid software engineering and architecture experience with scalable, production-grade solutions.
• Proven experience designing, developing and deploying GenAI applications in production.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical decisions.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Generative AI, LLMs and agentic AI, including agent orchestration and tool integration.
• Prompt engineering, LLM evaluation frameworks and performance optimization.
• LLM integration patterns, APIs and RAG.
• Python and cloud-based AI services (Microsoft Azure is a plus).
