Senior HR Specialist

About the role

A major organization based in the Neuchâtel area is looking for a Senior HR Specialist. The role acts as a trusted advisor to management and employees, covering a broad range of HR matters and supporting effective decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the employee lifecycle, from onboarding through development and internal mobility
• Advise management on employment contracts, absences, compensation and benefits, aligned with Swiss requirements
• Oversee payroll and personnel administration, including social security, pension and insurance compliance
• Maintain personnel records, prepare HR reports and analyses, and give management HR insights
• Contribute to HR projects on organizational development, employee engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits and process optimization

Required profile

• 7-10 years of HR experience in Switzerland, ideally as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner
• Strong knowledge of Swiss employment law and proven expertise in payroll, social security, pension and insurance
• Broad HR expertise covering employee relations, contracts, compensation and benefits, performance management and the full employee lifecycle
• Ability to partner with management, understand business needs and turn them into practical, people-focused HR solutions
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to handle multiple priorities independently, with discretion and professionalism
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in French, English and German
