Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

Dentsu is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel for its legal team in Switzerland, starting as soon as possible. The role is full-time and permanent, based in Zurich, within an international, collaborative and successful team.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements such as CXM contracts, media service agreements and personal data processing agreements
• Manage and record corporate matters
• Advise on intellectual property law for the IT sector, advertising law and competition law
• Advise on AI compliance, including review of AI tool legal terms used internally or for client projects
• Support the General Counsel in maintaining a risk register and provide legal and strategic advice to stakeholders
• Support internal investigations and train business units on legal and compliance topics
• Advise on temporary employment, labour leasing, nearshoring and offshoring, and handle personal data protection questions
• Manage and liaise with external lawyers and consultants

Required profile

• Very good academic record and about 6 years of post-qualification experience, including law firm experience
• Swiss bar admission
• Strong commercial and economic understanding, negotiating skills and a confident manner with stakeholders
• Significant experience and knowledge of key legal principles in specialist areas, and good knowledge of corporate governance
• Good knowledge of IP law and of AI-related legislation
• Business fluent in English and German; French is a plus
