Senior Low-Code Architect (Mendix)

About the role

As a Senior Low-Code Architect you will lead the design and delivery of Mendix‑based solutions, ensuring they fit within the broader software architecture landscape. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to translate business needs into robust, scalable applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and development of low‑code solutions using Mendix.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define integration requirements and identify low‑code opportunities.
• Design and implement scalable architectures that integrate Mendix applications with existing systems and external APIs.
• Provide technical guidance on low‑code best practices, architectural patterns, and integration strategies.
• Explore emerging low‑code technologies and evaluate their fit within the architecture.
• Work with developers, analysts, and infrastructure specialists to deliver high‑quality solutions on time and within budget.
• Mentor and coach developers in low‑code development and software architecture principles.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software architecture.
• Proven track record designing and implementing complex, scalable architectures.
• Deep expertise in Mendix for rapid application development and customization.
• Strong understanding of architecture principles, patterns and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of integration techniques such as RESTful APIs, messaging queues and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience with ESB, API gateways and microservices approaches.
