Senior Manager / Associate Director, EHDS Data Cataloguing

About the role

The Senior Manager / Associate Director, EHDS Data Cataloguing leads the European Health Data Space (EHDS) data inventory and cataloguing workstream for Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Data Transparency, the role ensures a complete, consistent, and discoverable view of in‑scope health data across multiple geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the EHDS Data Inventory and Cataloguing workstream, coordinating data owners to identify and assess all in‑scope datasets.
• Maintain a comprehensive inventory including ownership, EHDS category, metadata, source, status and dependencies.
• Apply and sustain classification and metadata standards such as HealthDCAT‑AP to ensure interoperability and discoverability.
• Develop and enforce minimum metadata requirements, decision frameworks, and guidance for consistent cataloguing.
• Partner with Legal, Privacy, Regulatory Affairs, Data Sharing and Technology teams to embed sustainable processes for legacy and future data holdings.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in a scientific, technology, data or healthcare discipline or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or data‑related roles, including data management, standards, governance or clinical data transparency.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive data‑driven processes in a multinational environment.
