Senior Manager, Global Procurement – Oils

About the role

The Senior Manager, Global Procurement – Oils will lead Hershey’s oils category sourcing strategy worldwide. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure a sustainable, reliable and cost‑effective supply of oil ingredients for Hershey and BFY brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Oils Category Sourcing Strategy to meet current and future business needs.
• Assess, select and develop strategic suppliers, negotiate contracts and monitor performance KPIs.
• Design and implement risk‑management programs using forward contracts, futures and derivative tools to provide price visibility.
• Provide market trend analysis to leadership and cross‑functional teams such as R&D, Plant Operations and Manufacturing Alliances.
• Create long‑term roadmaps for sourcing flexibility, substitution opportunities and feedstock resilience.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, including cost savings, quality enhancements, supplier diversity and working‑capital improvements.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships, monitor financial viability and mitigate supply disruptions.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in global category sourcing or procurement, preferably within the food or consumer goods sector.
• Demonstrated ability to manage strategic supplier relationships and negotiate complex contracts.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in price‑risk management using derivatives.
• Track record of leading cross‑functional projects and delivering continuous‑improvement results.
