Senior Manager MedTech Tax Planning

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Manager MedTech Tax Planning to lead tax planning and execution for strategic projects within its MedTech portfolio. The role is based in Zug, Switzerland (or New Brunswick, NJ) and runs through mid‑2029.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of strategic tax projects, developing workplans, milestones and managing risks.
• Coordinate tax diligence, modeling, approvals and implementation across internal stakeholders and external advisors.
• Assess direct, indirect, international and legal‑entity tax implications and translate them into practical requirements for structures, financial flows and documentation.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and evaluate their impact on projects.
• Partner with Tax Compliance, Finance, Legal and control owners to ensure governance, compliance and audit readiness before go‑live.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Taxation or related field; advanced degree or professional credential (CPA, JD) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive corporate tax, tax planning or advisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and international tax, transfer pricing, tax accounting and statutory reporting.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross‑functional projects independently.
• Excellent analytical, communication and business‑partnering skills.
