Senior Manager MedTech Tax Planning

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Manager to lead MedTech tax planning and execution for strategic projects. The role is based in Zug, Switzerland (or New Brunswick, NJ) and runs through mid‑2029.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of strategic tax projects, developing workplans, milestones and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate tax diligence, modeling, approvals and implementation across internal and external stakeholders.
• Assess direct, indirect, international and legal‑entity tax implications and embed practical planning into structures, financial flows and systems.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and evaluate their impact on projects.
• Partner with Tax Compliance, Finance, Legal and control owners to ensure governance, documentation and audit readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Taxation or related field; advanced degree or professional credential (CPA, JD) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive corporate tax experience, including U.S. and international tax, transfer pricing and tax accounting.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross‑functional projects independently.
• Strong analytical, communication and influencing skills.
• Proficiency with data analytics, financial modeling and collaboration tools.
