Senior Manager, Sound Quality Engineering

About the role

As Senior Manager Sound Quality Engineering you will lead a team that evaluates and optimises the sound quality of Sonova's hearing solutions. You will work closely with experts across signal processing, audiology, software engineering and verification to translate innovative technologies into measurable user benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of sound‑quality engineers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Guide engineering activities for new hearing functions, ensuring product quality, timelines and customer value.
• Translate strategic road‑maps into clear priorities and actionable objectives.
• Drive evidence‑based decisions through technical evaluations, performance measurements and user‑focused validation.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Acoustics, Biomedical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in engineering, acoustics or signal processing.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing projects or technical workstreams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
