Senior Manager Statistical Programming

About the role

Debiopharm is seeking a Senior Manager of Statistical Programming to lead the digitalization strategy for clinical data processing and analysis. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on management of a team of programmers and data scientists.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of statistical programmers, handling resource planning, talent acquisition and professional development.
• Lead the roadmap for AI adoption and new technical solutions for integrating and reporting clinical data.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of programming deliverables (datasets, tables, listings, figures) for study reports and integrated summaries.
• Provide technical guidance to CRO partners and oversee vendor compliance with standards.
• Maintain strict adherence to GCP, SOPs and regulatory requirements for electronic data submissions.
• Collaborate closely with Biostatistics, Data Management, IT and Clinical Development functions.

Required profile

• MSc in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of statistical programming experience in pharmaceutical clinical development.
• Deep understanding of clinical trial design, reporting processes and software validation methodologies.
• Proactive communicator able to adapt quickly to changing organizational needs.

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of SAS software.
