Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Jabil is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead process validation, manufacturing support, and process optimization in a regulated medical device environment. The role focuses on improving efficiency, reducing scrap, and ensuring product quality using data analysis, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical tools.

Key responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives targeting productivity, quality, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, root causes, and perform process optimization for scrap reduction.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for assigned processes, ensuring product quality and process consistency.
• Develop and execute IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and validation documentation.
• Provide day‑to‑day support to production, troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve performance and reliability.
• Support new product introductions, process transfers, equipment qualifications, risk assessments, and FMEA activities.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, and ISO 13485 requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years experience in medical device or highly regulated manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification desired.
• Strong experience in process optimization, validation, and equipment qualification.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
