Senior Mechanical Engineer (Product Development)

About the role

Coris Innovation is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its Lausanne product development team. You will be responsible for designing, simulating and integrating highly reliable mechanical sub‑systems for antenna projects, ensuring they meet functional, electrical, size, weight and airborne environment requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own the complete mechanical development cycle of antenna systems, from requirement definition to architecture trade‑offs.
• Define work packages, monitor execution and support project management with planning, interface coordination and risk management.
• Design, simulate, test, assemble and validate mechanical parts and assemblies for complex, integrated systems.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts, manufacturers, test facilities and cross‑functional engineers (system, hardware, RF).

Required profile

• Meticulous, open‑minded and well‑organized professional.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to work autonomously.
• Effective team player who readily seeks support and contributes to multidisciplinary problem solving.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• More than 10 years of proven mechanical engineering experience in a relevant industry.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SolidWorks 3D.
• Experience using EPDM for data management.
• Advanced thermal simulation and thermal management techniques.
• System‑level architecture knowledge encompassing mechanical, electrical and RF aspects.
