Senior Mechanical Engineer – Product Development (Lausanne)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Lausanne product development team. You will be responsible for designing and simulating highly reliable mechanical sub‑systems, ensuring they meet functional specifications while respecting electrical, size, weight and airborne environment constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Drive requirements, define architecture and evaluate trade‑offs for antenna mechanical development.
• Define work packages, monitor execution and support project management with planning, interface and risk management.
• Design, simulate, test, assemble and validate parts for sophisticated, highly integrated systems.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts, manufacturers and test facilities.
• Partner with system, hardware and RF engineers as well as internal and external specialists.

Required profile

• Meticulous, open‑minded and well‑organized professional with a strong sense of ownership.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• More than 10 years of proven mechanical engineering experience in a relevant industry.
• Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
