Senior Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our Medicines Management team at the Leaders in Oncology Care and Harley Street Clinic sites in Central London. The role rotates across outpatient and inpatient specialties, supporting oncology, cardiac and surgical services while delivering patient‑centred medicines optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Run an outpatient technician‑based medicines optimisation and management service.
• Maintain the SACT e‑Prescribing portfolio for oncology patients.
• Support inpatient pharmacy operations, including discharge planning for cardiac and surgical services.
• Take day‑to‑day responsibility for medicines management and optimisation activities.
• Train and develop trainee technicians and pharmacy assistants.
• Contribute to the development of clinical pharmacy qualifications within the team.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Accredited Checking Technician.
• Previous experience working in a hospital pharmacy, specifically within medicines management.

Required skills

• e‑Prescribing (SACT) proficiency.
• Medicines Management expertise.
• Knowledge of outpatient and inpatient pharmacy workflows.
