Senior Mobile Engineer - Android & iOS

About the role

Zühlke is looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to join interdisciplinary teams that create high‑quality, long‑lasting mobile applications for iOS and Android. You will leverage your deep expertise in Swift and Kotlin, applying modern engineering practices to deliver robust, user‑centric solutions for clients across diverse industries.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to shape optimal solutions and rapid prototypes.
• Integrate mobile apps into complex client system landscapes.
• Assess when native, cross‑platform, or hybrid approaches deliver the most value.
• Coach team members on mobile development best practices and agile methodologies.

Required profile

• Technical degree (BSc/MSc) in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in mobile software development.
• Strong expertise with Swift/iOS and Kotlin/Android ecosystems.
• Solid understanding of modern mobile architectures, clean code, and maintainable software.
• Experience with testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and quality‑driven engineering.
• Familiarity with agile collaboration in interdisciplinary teams.
