Senior Network Engineer – Enterprise Infrastructure

About the role

Our client, a global investment organization, is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation and optimisation of its enterprise network across on‑premises data centres and cloud environments. The role is based in Geneva and requires fluency in French and English, as well as participation in an on‑call rotation to support mission‑critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Cisco and HPE Aruba enterprise networks, Fortinet security infrastructure and Azure cloud networking across multiple international sites.
• Lead the evolution of hybrid network architectures, integrating on‑premises data centres with public‑cloud services.
• Manage the full lifecycle of network assets, including capacity planning, hardware refreshes and disaster‑recovery planning.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs and other secure network services.
• Provide third‑line technical support for complex networking incidents.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to improve performance and security.
• Maintain relationships with telecom providers and external technology partners.
• Ensure network monitoring, availability and compliance with operational standards.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for business‑critical systems.

Required profile

• 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Proven expertise with Cisco and/or HPE Aruba solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with Fortinet firewalls and network security technologies.
• Experience designing and supporting Microsoft Azure networking environments.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, WAN, LAN, WLAN and VPN technologies.
• Professional networking certification (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP, Aruba) and fluency in French and English.
• Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation.
