Senior PHP/Laravel Developer with Infrastructure & DevOps Experience

About the role

We are looking for a senior PHP/Laravel developer who also has strong infrastructure and DevOps skills. The role is fully remote and involves building, maintaining and modernising data‑driven applications while ensuring the reliability of the supporting systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy business‑critical applications using PHP, Laravel, Filament and PostgreSQL.
• Maintain application architecture, APIs and integrations, and ensure secure, reliable data flows.
• Lead code reviews, enforce automated testing, static analysis and coding standards with tools such as Pest, PHPStan and Laravel Pint.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git and Gitea.
• Administer a high‑availability Proxmox cluster and related technologies (Ceph/CephFS, ZFS, Linux, containers).
• Maintain essential services (PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Gitea, web servers, Icinga, Grafana, Loki) and handle incident response, monitoring and root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of professional software development experience, with a proven senior or technical‑lead track record.
• Strong hands‑on experience with PHP 8.x, Laravel (preferably version 12) and Filament.
• Deep understanding of application architecture, API design and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Solid knowledge of secure coding, automated testing and CI/CD practices.
• Hands‑on systems‑administration experience on Linux, virtualization, containers and high‑availability storage.
