Senior Procurement & Outsourcing Manager (Temporary)

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level Procurement & Outsourcing Manager to lead the design and execution of strategic sourcing, vendor governance and outsourcing risk management within a regulated corporate environment in Zurich. The role is temporary (fixed‑term) and offers a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve a company‑wide procurement framework, including end‑to‑end processes, tools and governance.
• Design and implement sustainable sourcing and vendor‑management strategies and drive performance optimisation through reporting and due‑diligence.
• Lead market analysis, complex RFP/tender processes and negotiate commercial contract terms independently.
• Coordinate legal, security and compliance reviews during supplier onboarding and ensure efficient execution of procurement processes across the organisation.
• Identify and manage supplier and outsourcing risks in partnership with IT, security and compliance teams.
• Maintain a structured vendor‑governance model for critical outsourcing arrangements and ensure regulatory alignment.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Several years of experience in strategic procurement or sourcing, preferably in IT or regulated sectors such as financial services.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Fluent in German and English.
