Senior Production Engineer – DGX Cloud

About the role

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to design, build, and operate software and automation that keep DGX Cloud services reliable, scalable, and safe. You will work on large‑scale distributed systems across multiple cloud providers and on‑premises environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production software, automation, and tooling for control‑plane services, model deployments, and inference workloads.
• Improve reliability of inference platforms (NVIDIA Cloud Functions, SGLang, vLLM, Dynamo) through health validation, safer rollouts, observability, and recovery mechanisms.
• Use infrastructure‑as‑code and GitOps to deploy, configure, upgrade, and recover services consistently.
• Define and instrument SLIs/SLOs, manage error budgets, and make production health visible to partner teams.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, incident response, and turn recurring issues into automated fixes.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience building or operating production services and large‑scale distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or a comparable language.
• Deep knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, containers, cloud infrastructure, networking, and distributed systems.
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code, configuration management, or GitOps.
• Understanding of production‑engineering principles such as SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and incident response.
