Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, interdisciplinary development projects in an R&D environment. The role focuses on bringing new products from concept through industrialization and production readiness, working closely with cross‑functional teams and technical experts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage interdisciplinary development projects, ensuring successful implementation of new products up to industrialization.
• Oversee the full development lifecycle—from concept, design, and validation to series readiness and hand‑over to production.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, including R&D, production, purchasing and other departments, to foster effective collaboration.
• Prepare solid decision‑making foundations and facilitate technical and project decisions with subject‑matter experts.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of methods, processes and standards within the development environment.

Required profile

• Technical background with a completed engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems or related).
• Extensive experience executing development projects and delivering them within defined targets.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and drive improvement opportunities early.
• Open, convincing and communicative personality with strong initiative and assertiveness.
• Structured, goal‑oriented working style, capable of maintaining an overview in complex situations.
• Fluent German for daily work and good English for international collaboration.
