Senior Project Manager

About the role

Cumming Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead small‑to‑medium construction and infrastructure projects, support larger programmes and contribute to service delivery excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end project processes, including tender preparation, contractor selection and contract documentation.
• Administer contracts, produce monthly reports, chair project meetings and maintain risk registers.
• Deliver project outputs to high quality standards while complying with health & safety, quality assurance and client governance procedures.
• Support business development, bid preparation and strategic initiatives, and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years post‑qualification.
• Degree qualified (any discipline) with MAPM, MRICS or equivalent, plus PRINCE2 Practitioner or similar certification.
• Proven ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders, resolve conflicts and lead teams.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies: PRINCE2, MSP, MAPM, MRICS.
• Contract knowledge: JCT, NEC.
• Risk and value management, change control, stakeholder management.
• Construction industry standards, HS&E legislation, BIM, Soft Landings, agile project management.
