Senior Project Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

You will take technical and commercial responsibility for complex projects from concept development through to commissioning and qualification. The role involves leading national and international projects for pharmaceutical production facilities, laboratories, and manufacturing plants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead interdisciplinary project teams and coordinate internal and external planning disciplines.
• Plan, monitor and report overall project progress across all phases, managing deliverables, quality, timelines, budgets and milestones.
• Facilitate project reviews with clients, service providers and suppliers, and conduct team meetings on scheduling, quality, costs and emerging challenges.
• Manage scope, change requests and supplier performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate internal and external approval processes and coach the project team.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Engineering (e.g., Chemical, Biotechnology, Process, Building Services, Architecture).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in a comparable senior project management role, with proven delivery of large‑scale projects.
• Project management certification such as PMP is preferred.
• Goal‑oriented, structured working style, strong hands‑on mentality and proactive decision‑making.
• High empathy toward clients, resilience under pressure and fluent in German and English.
