Senior Project Manager – Principal Delivery

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its Principal Delivery team. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery of construction and fit‑out projects, moving beyond traditional consultancy to true project ownership. The role sits in a fast‑paced, delivery‑focused environment where you will directly influence outcomes, drive programme performance and contribute to commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of construction and fit‑out projects from inception through to handover.
• Manage programme scope, cost, quality and risk to achieve successful outcomes.
• Coordinate design, procurement and construction activities within an integrated delivery model.
• Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee contractor and supplier performance, driving accountability and high standards.
• Support procurement strategies and engage with supply‑chain partners.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
• Ensure projects meet contractual obligations, timelines and budget expectations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and standardisation of delivery processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction projects, preferably commercial office fit‑out or similar sectors.
• Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle – design, procurement and construction.
• Demonstrated commercial awareness with experience in budget management and cost control.
• Experience managing contractors and working with supply chains.
• Ability to make decisions and operate effectively in fast‑paced environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
