Senior Project Manager – Science, Industry & Technology

About the role

Arup is expanding its presence in Zurich and seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead the growth of its Science, Industry & Technology (SIT) business. You will manage large, complex building projects, starting with a high‑value data centre, and help establish the new Swiss office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex SIT projects from design through construction, handover and close‑out.
• Establish and monitor project programmes, cost control, change management and procurement.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, external contractors and specialist support.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience delivering medium to large‑scale building projects (typically >CHF 10‑15 m).
• Professional qualification in a construction‑related discipline.
• Deep knowledge of the Swiss construction market, regulations and procurement phases.
• Fluency in English and advanced German (minimum B2).
