Senior Quality Control Specialist

About the role

Novartis is seeking an analytical science professional to shape and drive analytical control strategies for new chemical entities and emerging modalities, supporting late‑phase development, launch and lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analytical projects for launch and lifecycle management, collaborating with cross‑functional partners.
• Design, develop, validate, transfer, implement and monitor analytical procedures and technologies.
• Identify and implement improved analytical, regulatory and quality approaches, including digitalisation, automation and AI‑enabled methods.
• Support change control, regulatory submissions, health‑authority inspections and audit readiness.
• Lead root‑cause investigations and drive sustainable corrective and preventive actions.

Required profile

• University degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or API manufacturing.
• Experience working in analytical laboratories within a GMP environment.
• Strong communication skills in English and German.
• Ability to work effectively across organisational boundaries.
