Senior Tax Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Consultant to lead a tax reporting and process optimisation project covering Switzerland and Germany. The role involves preparing outstanding tax reports, establishing sustainable tax processes, and improving system‑supported tax activities within an Oracle Cloud environment. The position offers a predominantly remote working model with regular onsite meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Own tax reporting activities for Switzerland and Germany, including retrospective preparation of outstanding reports.
• Gather, review and structure information to produce complete and accurate tax reports, identifying gaps and inconsistencies.
• Manage and support VAT‑related topics for both countries.
• Provide tax expertise for change transactions and transformation activities.
• Develop, document and implement sustainable tax reporting processes and frameworks.
• Analyse and optimise existing tax workflows, reporting structures and Oracle Cloud‑supported processes.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in tax consulting, tax reporting or a comparable corporate tax function.
• Strong practical knowledge of tax reporting requirements in Switzerland and Germany.
• Proven ability to independently prepare complete tax reports and resolve reporting backlogs.
• Solid expertise in VAT‑related topics and tax‑relevant change transactions.
• Practical knowledge of Oracle Cloud and experience developing sustainable tax processes.
• Strong analytical, organisational and process optimisation skills with the ability to work independently.
