Senior Tax Manager – EUCAN (Switzerland, France, Italy, Greece)

About the role

This position is responsible for advising and managing the tax position of a multinational client across a selected group of European countries, with a focus on Switzerland, France, Italy and Greece. The role bridges global tax functions and regional business units, ensuring compliance while reducing complexity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate corporate income tax compliance and audit defence across the region.
• Maintain regular communication with tax authorities at federal, regional and local levels.
• Identify, assess and mitigate tax risks, and monitor legislative changes with material impact.
• Oversee indirect tax, withholding tax and other tax procedures.
• Coordinate transfer pricing documentation and adjustments in collaboration with the Transfer Pricing team.
• Review contracts and business initiatives from a tax perspective and provide guidance to finance, legal, supply‑chain and HR partners.

Required profile

• University degree in accounting, finance, law or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of tax experience within the pharmaceutical industry or a Big 4 firm.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and fiscal frameworks in the target European countries, including Eastern Europe.
• Excellent research, presentation and communication skills in English.
