Senior Web Designer – Growth Foundations

About the role

Join Payward’s multidisciplinary design and code team to create high‑performance web experiences that drive customer engagement and conversion. You will lead the creation of essential web and marketing pages, balancing business goals, user needs, and technical constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of web experiences and marketing pages from concept through production.
• Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, content specialists, and engineers to deliver data‑informed outcomes.
• Participate in design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Own the quality of your work, paying attention to detail and ensuring accessibility and performance.
• Contribute to and expand design systems, using data to shape brand strategy.

Required profile

• Strong portfolio demonstrating design quality, standards, and optimization.
• Deep understanding of how design integrates with code and performance considerations.
• Experience with progressive enhancement, graceful degradation, and accessibility standards (W3C).
• Collaborative, open‑minded attitude with a track record of successful teamwork.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Figma.
• HTML and CSS.
• Familiarity with React and JSON (optional but a plus).
