Service Team Leader – UPS Systems (80‑100%)

About the role

Lead a regional service team responsible for planning, order processing, and execution of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems across the German‑speaking part of Switzerland. You will report to the Head of Service UPS Systems and contribute to service strategy and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Service Coordinators, Order Handling Specialists, Technical Support Engineers and Field Service Technicians.
• Take overall responsibility for service activities, customer orders and maintenance operations, ensuring quality, performance and commercial targets.
• Provide operational support (≈60% of time) in service planning, review weekly reports and expense claims.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Technical vocational training in Electrical Engineering with higher‑level qualification (e.g., Certified Technician, Master Craftsman).
• Several years of leadership experience in a similar position.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, flexible and resilient personality.
• Willingness to travel throughout Switzerland and fluency in German and English (French/Italian a plus).

Required skills

• Power electronics and UPS systems knowledge.
• Maintenance, servicing, commissioning and repair of electrical installations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
