Site Manager – GIS Substations

About the role

As the Site Manager for GIS Substations you will be the main interface between customers, authorities, subcontractors and on‑site personnel, handling both technical and administrative matters. You will ensure smooth site operations and lead construction teams on a day‑to‑day basis.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for customers, authorities, subcontractors and project site personnel.
• Ensure smooth site operations and lead construction teams daily.
• Execute and monitor project performance regarding cost, schedule, HSE and quality.
• Maintain compliance with local regulations, standards and guidelines.
• Maintain daily communication with customers, subcontractors and internal back‑office teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in site management.
• Strong technical knowledge in installation and commissioning of MV/LV switchgear, transformers and GIS.
• Familiarity with F‑gas regulations and safety standards for pressurised hazardous substances is an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills and experience coordinating multiple teams.
• Fluent English required; German is an advantage.
