Site Manager / Site Coordinator – Data Centers

About the role

INP Schweiz is looking for a Site Manager / Site Coordinator to lead on‑site activities for data centre projects across Europe. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, authorities, subcontractors and internal teams, ensuring smooth daily operations and successful commissioning of electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main interface between customers, authorities, subcontractors and project site personnel on technical and administrative matters.
• Lead the on‑site team, ensuring day‑to‑day operations run smoothly.
• Monitor project performance against local regulations, schedule, HSE, quality and technical advisory requirements.
• Maintain continuous communication with customers, subcontractors and internal back‑office teams.
• Lead, coordinate and support commissioning activities for data centre electrical systems and equipment.
• Prepare commissioning documentation and test scripts.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field.
• Minimum two years of experience working in data centre environments.
• Strong organisational skills and experience coordinating teams and project scopes.
• Willingness to travel within Europe on challenging projects.
• Fluent English (German is a plus) and a valid EU work permit.

• Technical knowledge of transformers (Trafos).
• MV/LV switchgear.
• Diesel generators.
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS).
