Social Media Content Producer

About the role

The American Immigration Council seeks a creative, data‑savvy Social Media Content Producer to join its Marketing and Communications team. This fully remote position focuses on turning complex immigration policy, litigation, and research into engaging, share‑ready multimedia content that drives reach and audience growth.

Key responsibilities

• Produce platform‑native content for Instagram, LinkedIn, Bluesky, YouTube and Facebook, including captions, scripts, and visual assets.
• Develop and launch creative content series, campaigns, and peer‑to‑peer fundraising toolkits.
• Manage day‑to‑day channel operations: publishing, scheduling, and optimization using scheduling tools.
• Monitor and report on performance metrics, translate analytics into actionable improvements, and test new storytelling formats.
• Collaborate with internal teams to source stories, ensure timely coverage, and support influencer partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in social media content production, digital storytelling, or related fields.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating engaging, social‑first content across multiple formats.
• Exceptional storytelling and copywriting abilities, adaptable to diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (or similar design tools).
• Experience using Hootsuite, Later, Sprout Social, or comparable scheduling platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging social platforms.
• Ability to read platform analytics and apply insights to content strategy.
