Social Media Lead for Crypto Trading Platform

About the role

We are looking for a chronically online Social Media Lead to own and grow Kraken Pro’s social presence across platforms such as X, Telegram and emerging channels. You will shape the voice of a leading crypto trading platform, turning product updates and market trends into engaging, on‑brand content.

Key responsibilities

• Craft scroll‑stopping, platform‑native content for X, Telegram and other channels to maximize reach and impact.
• Spot trends and reactive moments across CT/FinTwit and broader social, then rapidly produce timely, on‑brand posts.
• Actively engage with the Kraken Pro community through replies, quotes, polls, memes and conversations.
• Maintain an always‑on content calendar: create, route for approvals, schedule, publish and monitor performance.
• Translate product and ecosystem news into clear, compelling narratives.
• Track growth and performance metrics, iterating based on insights and experiments.
• Partner with Legal and Communications to ensure compliant, accurate messaging across regions.

Required profile

• Portfolio of posts that generated strong engagement, whether on a brand account or personal channel.
• 3+ years of experience in social media or content creation, preferably in fintech, crypto or trading.
• Ability to move quickly under pressure and launch content without lengthy approval cycles.
• High competency with AI tools to amplify output and keep up with demand.
• Versatility in copy, memes, short‑form video, charts and threads without relying on a design queue.
• Good judgment on when to post and when to hold back.
• Strong writing, editing and communication skills.
• Creative, detail‑oriented and capable of producing visually appealing content using design tools.
