Software Engineer (Java/Angular/Kubernetes)

About the role

PrivaSphere is seeking a technically ambitious Full‑Stack Software Engineer to help build and scale its secure email and online application platform. You will work on both front‑end and back‑end components, ensuring reliability, security, and a great user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the PrivaSphere platform (front‑end and back‑end), focusing on scaling the service to a global commercial offering.
• Add new features and product lines, maintain an automated security testing framework, and produce documentation for audits and the development team.
• Support sales with new functionality, assist the COO on technical matters, and advance DevOps practices including continuous deployment and hardening.

Required profile

• Team player or leader ready to settle in the Zürich area with a long‑term commitment.
• Self‑starter with a relentless attitude, capable of conceptual advancement of technology and motivated by security and end‑user focus.

Required skills

• Java, RDBMS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, CSS, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Java frameworks such as Tomcat/JSP, JDBC, JavaMail.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Cypress) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows administration, MTAs like Postfix, and security libraries (JSSE/JCE, OpenSSL, GnuPG, BouncyCastle).
