Sr. Communications Business Partner, Core Lab

About the role

Roche Diagnostics Solutions (RDS) covers all diagnostics solutions and includes four customer areas, among them Core Lab. As Senior Communications Business Partner, Core Lab, you will lead communications strategy at a cross-portfolio level to drive business performance, enhance organisational culture and strengthen the visibility of the commitment to patients. You report to the Head of RDS Portfolio Strategy Communications and own integrated communication strategies for internal and external audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Core Lab cross-portfolio planning and measurement, creating and delivering integrated communications strategies that align key audiences with business priorities.
• Own external communications, public relations and internal employee communications, and act as senior advisor to the Head of the Core Lab Customer Area and the RDS Leadership Team.
• Co-create and deliver Global Communication topics and projects, and manage external vendors within scope, timeline and budget.
• Define ways of working, resource allocation and outcome-based planning with the broader RDS, Diagnostics and Group Communications community.
• Create a measurement framework to evaluate communication effectiveness, including digital/social capabilities based on Global Communications standards.
• Ensure compliance and ethics standards are met, and coach, guide and mentor project teams, colleagues and interns.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Journalism or Marketing.
• At least 7+ years of global/regional business experience as an in-house corporate communicator, preferably in Pharma, Diagnostics, Medical Device or Consumer Healthcare.
• Experience leading communications strategies in complex, matrixed organisations.
• Fluency in English.
• Preferred: experience in digital transformation and change management.
