Store Planning & Construction Project Manager – Europe

About the role
As a Store Planning and Construction Project Manager you will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of Piaget’s retail development and renovation projects across Europe. You will be responsible for translating design concepts into construction documentation, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring each boutique meets the brand’s standards for design excellence, operational efficiency and sustainability.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate design development from concept through construction documents, ensuring alignment with Piaget’s architectural standards and brand identity.
- Manage external design specialists such as architects, 3D artists and consultants.
- Lead projects from investment validation to construction close‑out, controlling CAPEX, budgets and schedules.
- Drive tendering processes, evaluate technical proposals, negotiate contracts and award work.
- Oversee procurement, purchase orders, change orders and financial reporting.
- Secure permits, landlord approvals and liaise with local authorities.
- Monitor construction phases to guarantee delivery on time, within budget and to quality and sustainability criteria.
- Identify risks, implement mitigation plans and coordinate post‑opening maintenance programmes.
- Act as the primary HQ interface for European markets, collaborating with Retail, Procurement, Real Estate, Legal, Finance, Security, VM and Content teams.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Architecture, Interior Architecture or Construction Project Management, with at least 7 years in luxury store planning and construction.
- Proven track record delivering international retail projects for luxury or premium brands.
- Strong understanding of luxury design, construction processes and operational excellence.
- Extensive experience managing executive architects, quantity surveyors and multidisciplinary consultants.
- Willingness to travel regularly across France, Switzerland, Italy and the Nordics.
