Stores Coordinator – Aviation Maintenance

About the role

The Stores Coordinator works within Helvetic Airways' Part‑145 line‑maintenance stores department, ensuring 24/7 management, control and storage of aircraft material and components. Reporting to the Head of Stores, the role requires shift work, including nights and weekends, to keep the technical stores running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily operational tasks in the technical stores and logistics function.
• Receive, inspect and process aircraft parts, materials and tooling in line with company procedures and EASA Part‑145 requirements.
• Record and maintain inventory data in the AMOS maintenance management system.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of parts subject to shelf‑life, calibration, environmental and life‑limit controls.
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory control activities.
• Manage line‑station stores and quarantine stock when required.
• Maintain an organized, safe and clean working environment within the stores area.

Required profile

• Secondary school education or equivalent.
• Physically fit and able to perform operational tasks.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to work independently in a structured and reliable manner.
• Eligible for a Zurich Airport security pass (clean criminal record).
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Good command of English.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Experience with the AMOS maintenance management system (beneficial).
