Strategic Account Manager – Orthopaedics

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Strategic Account Manager for its Orthopaedics business in the western part of Switzerland. The role will drive market expansion, build long‑term partnerships with clinical and non‑clinical customers, and deliver innovative surgical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead account strategies to increase profitable sales and market share within hospitals, hospital groups, and group purchasing organisations.
• Coordinate proposal development with clinical teams and present opportunities and risks to management.
• Lead negotiations for commercial agreements and oversee their execution across care centres.
• Represent Johnson & Johnson Orthopaedics with commercial partners in strategic accounts.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (advantageous).
• Several years of experience as a Sales Manager or Key Account Manager, managing non‑clinical partnerships.
• Deep understanding of the Swiss healthcare market and regulatory environment.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

Required skills

• Fluent written and verbal French and English; German language skills are a plus.
• Experience in contract negotiations and deal structuring.
• Project management capability to lead complex initiatives.
