Student Marketeer - Berner Fachhochschule

About the role

Red Bull is looking for a Student Marketeer at the Berner Fachhochschule (University of Applied Sciences Bern). As part of its brand and product ambassador program, you will represent the brand on campus and in your region, reaching new consumers, increasing sales and managing the Red Bull brand through direct contact with students and at events. The role is part-time and suits someone who values flexibility over a 9 to 5 job.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand and product ambassador: live the brand's personality and values in everyday interactions with consumers and customers.
• Grow the user base by inviting product trials and raising awareness through sampling, and answer consumer questions competently.
• Build and run a tailored, innovative campus plan that engages students and brings the brand to life at university.
• Create a strong network by building and maintaining relationships with key local people.
• Promote the brand on your social media with authentic content and work at Red Bull and supported events.
• Build relationships with local sales account managers so Red Bull stays available and visible in outlets, and collaborate with sales to open new distribution points on and around campus.
• Use Red Bull assets to keep the brand top of mind in sales accounts and ensure store standards are followed.
• Plan and report your activities on the dedicated online platform, share ideas with the team regularly, and contribute local insights to the Red Bull media business.

Required profile

• Passion for the Red Bull brand and product.
• Excellent communication skills and a charismatic, energetic, positive and outgoing personality.
• Deep understanding of student life, the city and region, including behind-the-scenes activities and hot spots.
• Highly approachable and able to relate to different people.
• Creative mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, responsibility and initiative.
• Affinity for learning marketing, negotiation and sales skills.
• Ability to manage part-time work and studies, ideally available some evenings and weekends.
