About the role

Lead a highly engaged team of operators and line mechanics on a vial filling and lyophilisation line in a fast‑paced GMP environment. This hands‑on leadership position balances coaching an autonomous team with stakeholder management across Engineering, Supply Chain, MSAT and Quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a high‑performing team, providing coaching while empowering autonomous decision‑making.
• Drive safe, compliant and efficient execution of vial filling and lyophilisation operations to meet production targets and clinical supply commitments.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, MSAT, Quality and other stakeholders to align priorities and solve challenges.
• Champion continuous improvement, support deviation management, investigations and implementation of sustainable process improvements.
• Maintain a visible presence on the manufacturing floor while handling strategic planning and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.

Required profile

• Experience in GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing with ability to thrive in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Strong people and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative leadership style.
• Fluent German required; English considered an advantage.
• Leadership experience in manufacturing valued, but strong hands‑on aseptic fill & finish expertise is also acceptable.
• Experience with aseptic fill & finish operations, especially vials and lyophilisation, is a strong advantage.
