Supplier Quality Engineer – Injection Molding (EMEA)

About the role

Sika AG is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support its injection molding suppliers across the EMEA region. The role involves evaluating, developing and monitoring supplier performance to ensure high‑quality materials for automotive applications.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop potential, new, and existing injection molding suppliers.
• Analyse supplier data to identify trends, improvement areas and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate internal and customer audits at supplier sites.
• Manage supplier complaints and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with procurement and engineering to assess and qualify new suppliers.
• Support development and improvement of injection molding materials.
• Oversee and improve supplier management systems to ensure quality performance.
• Travel to supplier sites (30‑50% of time).

Required profile

• Degree in chemistry or a related chemical field, or comparable qualification.
• Practical experience in quality management within the automotive industry, familiar with VDA 6.3.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Fluent in German and English; French or other languages are a plus.
