Supply Chain & Export Specialist

About the role

The Supply Chain & Export Specialist will manage order processing, pricing, and export documentation for assigned customers across multiple countries. The role ensures smooth coordination between plants, sales units, and external partners while maintaining high‑quality support.

Key responsibilities

• Process stock, third‑party and chain orders for assigned customers.
• Create price‑offer calculations and coordinate with Omya plants and selling units.
• Handle shipment/export processing, including document creation and forwarder coordination.
• Manage letters of credit, cash‑against‑documents, and arrange plant inspections.
• Legalize documents at consulates/e‑origin chambers, coordinate claims, and maintain CRM data.
• Issue credit memos, send dunning letters, and support GR/IR checks for assigned countries.

Required profile

• Commercial apprenticeship, business administration degree, or equivalent qualification.
• Federal Diploma or comparable qualification in Foreign Trade, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in international trade, export, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of export processes, customs regulations, Incoterms, and international trade documentation.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder‑management skills in an international environment.

Required skills

• SAP knowledge, preferably MM and SD modules.
• Experience with Letters of Credit (L/C) and Documentary Collections (CAD).
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
