Supply Chain Planner – Inventory & Production Coordination

About the role

The Supply Chain Planner will manage inventory planning, order flow, production scheduling and transfer activities for assigned product lines and distribution locations. The role ensures that customer demand is met by monitoring supply availability, coordinating with internal teams and positioning inventory across markets.

Key responsibilities

• Review item planning data, stock points and inventory outlook reports to identify risks of shortages or excess.
• Handle spike orders, blocked orders and other order exceptions; respond to sales order requests.
• Create, release and prioritize work orders; monitor production order status and communicate priorities.
• Coordinate distribution orders and purchase‑order reviews with regional teams.
• Prepare and distribute weekly Open Order, Inventory Outlook, Stock Status and logistics reports.
• Communicate planning risks, supply issues and required actions to Product Management, Operations and Customer Service.
• Identify and support continuous‑improvement initiatives to increase planning accuracy and fill rates.

Required profile

• Experience in supply chain, inventory or production planning.
• Strong analytical ability to assess planning signals and inventory data.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Detail‑oriented approach to manage order exceptions and reporting.
