Supply Chain Specialist (Procurement)

About the role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist focused on indirect material procurement to join our pharmaceutical operations in Rotkreuz. You will support the planning, execution, and optimisation of purchasing processes while ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Support and assure the planning and control of operational purchasing processes.
• Evaluate, select and manage external partners and suppliers.
• Assist with local, regional and global tenders and procurement projects.
• Provide support during contract negotiations, filing, monitoring and terminations.
• Participate in internal, external and supplier audits.
• Advise specialist departments on procurement activities and manage supplier portfolios.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes, guidelines and tools.
• Create reports and dashboards for efficient procurement management.
• Coordinate vehicle fleet management together with leasing providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in digital, procurement or supply‑chain projects, preferably with a focus on process optimisation.
• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities, able to grasp complex issues quickly.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, flexibility, creativity and solution‑oriented attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and independent work style.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English (C1 level).

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
• Proficient use of Google Suite.
• Experience with SAP.
