System Architect – GPS ART (Full-time)

About the role

Julius Baer is seeking a senior System Architect to lead the technology strategy for GPS ART within the Global Products and Solutions division. You will work in the Architecture Centre of Excellence, partnering with product owners, scrum masters and agile squads to shape the future functional infrastructure of the GPS division.

Key responsibilities

• Define target and transition architectures in line with enterprise vision.
• Develop the GPS Technology Strategy, evaluate new technologies and lead the Technology Architecture Board.
• Conduct hands‑on technology assessments, proof‑of‑concept projects and coach agile teams during migrations.
• Own solution blueprints and create concrete transition road‑maps for the GPS ART landscape.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture governance and standards.
• Stay current on financial‑industry and technology trends, proposing innovative solutions to business partners.

Required profile

• Passionate, entrepreneurial mindset with a "can‑do" attitude.
• Multi‑year experience as a System or Software Architect in the financial sector or banking consultancy.
• Proven track record delivering technology projects, strategy definitions and road‑maps.
• Strong communication skills to interact with C‑level executives and cross‑functional teams.
