System Engineer – Lithography Equipment Integration

About the role

Eulitha is a Swiss deep‑technology company developing advanced lithography systems for photonics applications such as AI, AR, telecommunications and biosensors. As a System Engineer you will lead the integration, testing and qualification of these lithography tools from R&D prototypes through factory and site acceptance, and support ongoing maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute calibration, measurement and test plans to characterise tool performance across mechanical, optical, electrical and software domains.
• Analyse test and metrology data, produce technical documentation, specifications and operation manuals.
• Manage and conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) in collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Provide feedback to system development teams on performance and stability.
• Operate, diagnose and characterise equipment using advanced hardware and software tools.
• Troubleshoot complex issues using structured methods and available resources.
• Travel to customer sites globally to support installation, commissioning and maintenance.

Required profile

• University degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, mechatronics or a related technical field.
• Several years of hands‑on experience with high‑tech equipment, preferably in semiconductor or precision‑engineering environments.
• Strong troubleshooting ability across multiple engineering domains.
• Willingness to travel internationally for integration, qualification and acceptance activities.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
